Homemade Creamy Chocolate Frosting

Making homemade frosting is so easy! I never buy store brand frosting. Once you've had the real thing, there's no turning back! You will need:
1 stick of butter
1/3 cup of milk
1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
2/3 cup Hershey's Cocoa
3 cups Powdered Sugar
Melt butter. Stir in cocoa. Alternately add powdered sugar and milk, beating on medium speed to spreading consistency. Add more milk for a creamier texture if needed. Stir in vanilla. Recipe makes about 2 cups. Enjoy!

  1. You are right, there is NO turning back. When we were at a fellowship a couple of weeks ago, the cake had store icing and it didn't even taste real.
