Homemade Fireplace Cleaner


2 bars Naphtha Soap
5 pints Hot Water
1 1/2 lb Powdered Pumice
12oz Ammonia
Shave the naphtha soap into a large pot. Pour in the hot water. Heat until the soap dissolves. Remove from the heat and leave to cool. Ten add the pumice an the ammonia and stir until the mixture is thoroughly combined.
To Use: brush the cleaner on with a paintbrush and leave it for 1 hour. Then scrub it off with a stiff brush and soap. Rinse with clean water.
