This recipe will make two 8 inch cakes. This was our first time eating a Boston cream pie. I must say that it didn't go over well with my family. We are more of a German chocolate cake kind of family; however, here is the recipe. 1 box White Cake mix 1 tablespoon Flour 1 large box Vanilla Pudding (not instant) 1 carton Chocolate frosting Preheat oven to 350. Mix the cake mix with the flour and prepare the batter as directed on the package. Pour into two 8 inch round pans and bake as directed. Cook vanilla pudding as directed on the box and set aside to cool. Once the cakes have cooled completely, then split them in half and fill with the pudding. Spread the chocolate frosting over the top of each cake.
