I did a little research on which veggie has the most vitamins and minerals. Kale was at the top of the list. It is one of the best cancer fighting foods. I must say, I'd never heard of kale before reading about it. After browsing through several recipes, I decided to just think of kale as a pretty collard green:)
I washed them several times.
Chop and remove the center stem.
I used a smoked turkey bone to season the Kale. It was so good!!!
This was a great addition to my Sunday soul food dinner. We had candied yams, steamed cabbage, turkey legs, cornbread, and yummy kale. Please give it a try!
