Homemade Sour Cream


Homemade sour cream is super easy to make! Here is the recipe:
1 cup Heavy Cream
1/4 cup Buttermilk
Whip both ingredients together in a bowl. Cover with an airtight lid. Let the mixture sit undisturbed for a few hours at room temperature. Mixture should be smooth and creamy. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Enjoy

  2. That is SO easy! I have never tried this but I'm going to. I make my own buttermilk using this method. I haven't had to buy buttermilk in years, so this is definitely something I want to do. We go through about 4 large sour creams a month! Thanks for posting it!
